Thanks for all your support on HSN last week! It was a wonderful 24-hour crafting event.
1. Here is perhaps one of the best craft ideas ever! You know how I love to write notes to my family on a big white plate? A few years ago, I bought a bunch of dessert-sized white plates (on clearance at T.J.Maxx) with the intention to do SOMETHING with them. Well–they’ve sat for two years now but my girls FINALLY did something amazing with them!
Sage and Brecken had secret sisters at girls camp and made these plates for their girls using Sharpies:
Sage and her friends have also had a great time making them for each other:
Sharpies work the best because they are semi-permanent on plates but can wipe off with Windex or SoftScrub:
2. Have I mentioned that I’m going to be a grandma in October? We are giddy with excitement at our house. Kade and Taylor are babysitting a neighborhood family’s children for a few days and it warmed my heart when he showed up at our house like this today:
3. We are blessed to have a lake pretty much in our backyard. I love the mountains in the background of these pictures! They have been a part of me my entire life and I love the security and sense of belonging they bring to my whole family. My Dad also grew up in the shadow of these mountains and he loves them as much as I do!
Happy Monday and here’s to finding joy in the journey!
P.S. A big change is coming soon. Stay tuned!!
