This past week I've been in Philly (QVC--thanks for your support), NYC (corporate meetings) and Boston (CKU Boston). I'm actually in Boston right now at the beautiful Seaport Hotel. When I travel, I'm always a people watcher. As I observe other human beings, I can't help but think how people really are the same everywhere I go. We all eat, sleep, get dressed and try our best to get the most from our day. Some of the unfortunate people I saw lying on the streets of NYC just try to get through the day. We also have the need to love and be loved. It amazes me how everywhere I go there are such great people to be found. Some of my very best friends are gals (and a few guys) that I've met through this amazing scrapbooking industry. For example, I met up with Gladys Hedaya, and her husband Ezra for dinner last night in Manhattan. I met Gladys on a CK scrapbooking cruise almost two years ago and we've been great friends ever since. I feel like such a lucky girl!

I called home this afternoon and my adorable hubby of almost 17 years was juggling all the kids schedules--Brecken had to be at piano lessons, Kade at a football game and Collin at football practice (all at the same time). Again I thought what a lucky girl I am to have a great man by my side. He truly takes the pressure off when I'm away from home.
Just want to put a shout out to Steven Roy Bearnson and let him know I love him and am glad I said "I Do" nearly 17 years ago.
Have a great night!

I loved your incredibly sweet "shout out" to your husband. Its wonderful to have a hubby that's so supportive!
And it's so true.....people really are people where ever we go, and they were all somebody's baby at one point!
That is so sweet!
(Awwww,) that was sweet and made me want to call my hubby at work. I feel the same way. I think a strong relationship is the key to a happy and loving marriage. Time flies it has been just barely 20 yrs. for us. Have fun! (and yes, we are blessed to just know you...)
I'm glad you're having such an amazing time on your travels...with the added bonus of knowing that you don't have to worry about things at home because hubby has it all under control.
Love the pictures! http://jolenegeorge.blogspot.com/
Hey Lisa! I've seen some of your products and notice that you are huge into scrapbooking. I work with a company in Rome, GA and we have this awesome product that is actually great for scrapbooking. It's called un-du. It's an adhesive remover that is completely safe to use on pictures, stickers, etc. I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but I'd like to send you some samples to try out if you don't mind. If you're interested, please let me know where you'd like me to send the samples. I look forward to hearing back from you! Hope you are having a wonderful time in Boston, though I'm sure your kids are missing you like crazy!!
My e-mail address is alansford@bigtimeproducts.net.
Thanks!!
When I was a Senior in High School, my Mom and I spent a week in New York before heading to Europe for 3 months.
I am a people wathcer too. In fact, one afternoon we sat on the steps of a office building and took pictures of complete stranges. I thought it was funny how they would come out of these beautiful buildings, dressed in suits, then change into their tennis shoes to catch the sub and cabs. So we spent the entire afternoon "watching" taking pictures. Only to get home and realize that I had not loaded the film correctly and the pictures were lost! I was devasted.
It was a experience I have never forgotten. I thought the exact same thing. We are all just people.
Travel safe! Sending hugs your way!
Lisa I am so glad that you decided to blog....love hearing that you are just a 'normal' girl like us. No kids yet--but I really look up to you and the way you and your husband are raising your kids. You're such a great example. Thanks!
Hey Lisa... I am so sorry I cou;dn't get down to Boston this morning to meet up with you. The kiddos start soccer this morning and my car is in the shop. LOL You know how it is, I am sure! I was telling Scott and he was bummed for me... we miss you guys! Tell Steve we said hi, too, okay? Have fun with Lesley today!
Lisa--I have always admired how you always show your love for Steve in your layouts, in your editorials and now on your blog. My hubby of 40 years (how is THAT possible?!!) will be on the CK Cruise in October with me. I look forward to meeting you then.

Hi Lisa - I'm a novice and am currently working on the set of 4 8x8 scrapbooks. I'm working on book 3 and I noticed that there are no journaling tips - is that on purpose or error? I need all the help I can get and appreciated those little tips.
I'm so excited to see you have a blog! I've always admired your amazing business sense and your bubbly personality. :)
Pat--
Go to the products section on the Lisa Bearnson web site, click on products, then the favorite albums. My third album is showcased here--hopefully it will give you some good ideas.
Good luck!
