Best Peach Cobbler Recipe

Peach Cobbler
Here's my favorite dessert recipe. It's super easy to make and you can eat it without feeling guilty--it's half fruit! Enjoy!

Peach Cobbler
from the kitchen of Lisa Bearnson

3-4 cups fresh or canned peaches
1 T. lemon joice
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
6 T. butter, melted

Place peaches on the bottom of a 8" square baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix dry ingredients; add eggs, tossing with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Top with whipped topping or vanilla bean ice cream.

I got fresh peaches yesterday and made this recipe. (I've never had, nor made cobbler previously) This just looked too good to pass up! Thanks for sharing! I made this for my family and my husband and I loved it. My dear 12 yr old son wouldn't even try it! LOL!! Thanks for inspiring me to try something new!

Just thought you'd like to know, I have been thinking about how hard it is to do family prayer if Stephen has to work, or someone's out...and your idea of doing it by phone (in that letter/QVC thing) has made my day! We will be trying it!

It's a tablespoon. Also the wrapper on the butter sticks have the tablespoons marked off so just cut where indicated and melt!
