My "Contest" Page!

Wow--I'm amazed how many people have already entered this contest (see below post)! I have read your sweet essays and am very touched. There are so many wonderful people in this world and YOU are one of them! Okay--big problem! How am I only going to choose 10?

Last night I created this page in less than 20 minutes. It was completely done with the new Daisyd's products that will be sent to the winners. (Their new lines are all about feeling creative but getting it done quick!) You really should check Daisyd's out--simply incredible. And--this page showcases our kite flying experience!

Keep your "entries" coming. I love reading them!

LOVE your page. The title is perfect! That title applies to my life! The only photo missing on that page is YOU! Sorry to say, but that also applies to my life. I'm always the one behind the camera, and I have to remember to give the camera to someone else so that I'm in some layouts too!

I like the hand written journaling. That is one of things that I definitely need to do more of.

I just have to comment that Brecken and Sage are really growing up! I love the "peace" sign that Brecken is flashing, and Sage's face is really maturing! All of your kids are so cute, and since I've been looking at your layouts for years now, I feel like I've watched them grow up!

Thanks for sharing Lisa!

Lisa, it's always so exciting when you have a new post. I love that page! It's so fresh. Where in your brain do you keep all of your ideas? I'm glad there's people like you I can "scraplift" my pages (hope y'all don't mind!) because my brain doesn't seem to want to envision its own! Yeah, did you mention the word "free"? That's all you had to say. (ha.ha.) I think you're going to have to come up with a "second chance" contest for another 100 people! Thanks for the fun!

Lisa,

When I was looking at your pictures on the last post, I couldn’t help but be a little jealous at the beautiful mountain view. I would think that your family really enjoys the views from your home. I hope that my family and I will be able to take a vacation to Utah before my kids get much older. We live close to the end of the Appalachian trail so we do have a mountain view, but nothing like this. We are about 50 miles north of Atlanta, so in the summer the smog blocks a lot of the view.

Thanks so much for the joy you have given me over the past couple of months reading this blog. I have become a big fan.

Hope someday to meet you.

Lisa,

I love the distressed look of the layout. It has beautiful colors, but does not overpower the pix. Thanks for sharing your layout, and family fun with all of us.

Again, Daisy D's hits the mark with me! And opps, I posted my "Best $40 I ever spent" on yesterday's post (comments section), I hope that was alright. Ironically, the best $40 I ever spend happened just last week, too!

And after thinking about it some, even though I journaled about it, I decided to create a page titled "Best $40 Ever Spent (thus far :) )".

Thanks Lisa!

What a fun day, we went kite flying on Wednesday, with a 99 cent kite that was 10 years old, we laughed and laughed that is has tape and sticks holding it together but the kids had soo much fun flying it!

What a great page and it really captures the fun you were having...miss seeing you too on the page, but isn't that just us moms...making sure everyone else is taken care of!? :)

Love the daisy d's...their vintage feel is always in style for me.

Love your page Lisa! Sounds like you had a great time flying those kites. I must give that a go! Love your family values Lisa, so important in our busy lives to put time aside to spend with those we love.

Great to see you are doing another contest. Gives those who didn't win last time a chance! I don't envy you having to choose the most worthy ten, it's been so popular! Just goes to show what a huge following you have out there.

Shelly in the nw commented about you being missing in the picture! Just like me...thousands upon literally thousands of photos spanning some 28 years & maybe 100 or so of me! That's because I'm the one shooting!! I love your page! Such talent! If I had .. that much of what you have, I'd be a happy scrapper. As of right now, I'm your newbie here, & I have lotsa questions I can't seem to get answers to. Anyone out there help out an old lady?
Peace, & happy scrapping!

Hello!!

Hey Geri - - my advice on scrapbooking is just have fun! Don't get overwhelmed with all you have to do! Let each picture speak to you and as long as the page comes from your heart it will be fabulous!! Also - the kits Lisa sells on QVC are a great way to learn some of the techniques - great instructions!! Plus they have everything you need to make a really great layout!! Good Luck!

I so hope we get those kites here in the UK, they are divine. I have both a princess & pirate fan in the house so fingers crossed.
Kite flying really is so much fun, we love it too.
