Live Chat with me Friday plus "I'm a Nervous Wreck" contest
Hey Everyone,
Join me on Friday September 28th from 4-6 p.m. (MST) for a live online chat. I'd love to answer your questions (e.g. "Is David Venable as cute in person as he appears to be on TV?"). Go to www.creatingkeepsakes.com/mb to join the chat.
I've been a nervous wreck the last four weeks with Steve's new "adventure." Tuesday was the worst day of all. Okay--so since I'm having a contest around this new little activity I won't say any more.
The first 10 people that correctly guess what Steve's been up to will receive our "just in the warehouse" December Kit of the Month (post your guess as a comment using the link below this post. Be sure to include your email!) I saw it yesterday when I was at work and it truly is one amazing product. It's a lot of really cool stamps with all kinds of cool doodles, flourishes and accents for your pages. The cutest I've ever seen! I'll create a page using the stamp kit with Steve's photos on it when I announce the winners! Hurry and cast your vote so you can have a crack at this prize!
Good luck! And talk to you tomorrow.
Lisa B.

In any event, good luck to Steve in the new adventure.

I really haven't a clue, but I know it would freak me out if hubby got a motorcycle, so that's my guess. Enjoy that new puppy! They are so worth the effort to get through those trying times while they are learning what we want from them. Aren't those eyes just the cutest?

Hi Lisa,
I love reading your blog! You are such an inspiration to women who want to create something in their lives that makes them happy. Anyway, my guess is also that Steve is trying to get his pilot's license or that he's trying parachuting/jumping from a plane. Keep up the great work with CK. I love your magazine!

I would say that he is either learning to fly or learning to skydive...
My guess would also be getting his pilot's license. I wanted to tell you also that I drove across the dam at Lake Powell and got to see some of the Lake about two weeks ago. We flew into Salt Lake City and rented a car and for three weeks drove 4,309 miles before flying home from SLC. Love your part of the States and especially lower Utah. Really enjoyed Bryce Canyon and the drive on the back roads back into SLC. Lord willing, I hope to visit again. Ann from Alabama
Hi Lisa,
I remember you saying something about Steve changing his eating habits...no meat or carb free?
Maybe he has decided to write a cookbook or a guide to healthy living...

I would say he is working on remodeling something in the house or the yard. Maybe due to the new puppy. Home construction never know what might go wrong??? I wish him luck with whatever it is.
cheri.duchrow@sbcglobal.net
Cheri
Not sure if my comment when through so I will try one more time. I wish him and you luck with with whatever it is. I guess it has something to do with Home remodeling/construction or in the yard. You never know what will happen when you start ripping cutting and hammering!!!
cheri.duchrow@sbcglobal.net
Running for office?
Teaching your son to drive?
primitivehouse@aol.com
Steve seems like a pretty adventurous type of guy so i'll say he's into racing cars....don't all guys like fast cars?
If not, maybe he bought a Harley (or similar) and is now riding a motorcycle. My hubby did this and it made me a wreck too...to this day I have never even rode on it.
Your weather is probably turning, but I would still guess he's riding dirt bikes, ATVs (super scary to me), quads and such. all are in the scary category to me.
Or maybe with his new found health he's doing loooooong bike rides. This would also be scary to me...you never know if something happens and you breathe a sigh of relief when they come home from their 30 mile ride.
Can't wait to see you next month in Seattle.
How about scuba diving? My husband does that and after several scary stories about his crazy friend who goes with him, I'm always scared when he goes!!!
Leutley@comcast.net
Taking flying lessons?
What ever it is they do right there at the point of the mountain-you know, flinging yourself off the mountain attached to some parachute type thingy that will hopefully save you from free falling into Thanksgiving Point?

Hi Lisa,
My name is Lisa Blake and I am the sister of SGT Nathan Barnes. I just heard about your blog from the day of Nathan's funeral yesterday. I read it and was so touched I forwarded it to all of my family. You made us all cry and feel grateful that people seem to understand and appreciate the sacrifice that was made for them. Nathan was one of a kind and we all miss him so much. We know that we have many tough days ahead, and we thank you for your support and the support of all those who commented.
