Halloween Fun!

Halloween festivities have been going on for the past several days at the Bearnson house. This photo was taken on our way to Marta's (good friend) incredible Halloween party. It was at Jump On It--a rockin' place where there are wall to wall trampolines (even some on the walls). Very fun. Brecken was a girl pirate; I was a boy pirate; and Sage was a Spanish dancer--the same thing she was last year. I bought her an adorable chef's apron and hat at Costco but she changed her mind and wanted to be the dancer again. Works for me.
Saturday we enjoyed "Thriller"--a dance concert put on by a professional company. We go almost every year and it's a family favorite. Wednesday will be filled with parties, parades and of course trick or treating. My neighbor always gives out hot churros so I'll be sure to go to her house!

Hope your Halloween is safe and fun.

I'll be off for Seattle early Thurs. morning (Creating Keepsakes Convention--come see us!) and then straight to a football game in Denver. My cousin plays for MSU.

Sincerely,

Lisa

Lisa, I enjoy your blog -- thanks for sharing with all of us.
I just read Organize magazine and the article on you -- they did a great job! Would you mind sharing where you got those round eyelet containers? Would love to get some for my scrapbooking.
Thanks,
Susan S.

Hi Lisa,

Looking forward to seeing you in person again, I am happy you are coming to Seattle, my neck of the woods. Weather has been good all week, so let's hope it stays nice through the end of the week. I am taking your Thursday night class, and am looking forward to it. Keep smiling and see you soon.

Thanks for the great Hallowe'en idea Lisa. I'm an avid reader of your blog and have met you at CKC Buffalo. I was trying to think of a good costume this year for our office party and was resigned to the fact that I was again going to be a witch. When I saw your pirate costume I realized that our old "dressup" box had the makings of a pirate costume and voila - a pirate was born! Har Matey!

Thanks again and Happy Hallowe'en!

Y'all look so cute!!! Brecken is really sprouting! Tall girl! We went to a party Saturday night and my husband and I dressed as hippies. I think my long blonde wig ended up on about 5 other people that night! A hit. Sadly, my eight year old has decided he doesn't want to "dress up" for trick or treating this year (seriously!). So we're going to have him wear a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt and hat and he'll be a "fan". We're tacking a paper fan to the back of his shirt. Gotta outsmart them sometimes! Have a fun safe trip!

How fun that you are dressing up too...

My kids change their ideas many times before the big day. Lastnight by older son (14) changed his mind yet again....grrr....every year i remind myself that it may be the last year and to just roll with it.

See you tomorrow morning...eeeek...you must have a very early flight.

Happy Halloween! Such a precious picture of the three of you! Have a blessed trip and DENVER - is soooo close to me! It would be such a blessing to get to visit with you sometime! And BTW ~ is it my imagination or not b/c it seems like there is NEVER any CKC's in Colorado. Of course with three little blessings (one of whom is only weeks old) - my ability to go is limited anyway - but I would love to be able to sometime! ;-)
Sweet blessings Lisa!

Hey, Lisa. It's fun to dress up with the kids, isn't it? Last year I put on some overalls and a flannel shirt and painted a scarecrow face on!! Have a great weekend. Valerie
