LISA'S TIP OF THE DAY
Have you ever wished you had a product that was so fresh and new, only you had it? Well, guess what--you do! It's easy to get in a rut when it comes to using your supplies, but with a little thinking outside the box, you can come up with ways to use your existing products in totally unique ways.

Sometimes my girlfriend and I challenge ourselves to use supplies we never thought we'd have a use for (orange paper, grandma-ish papers, ugly green brads...).
I usually surprise myself and so far haven't disliked any of the pages!
Put a time limit on your project and have someone that your accountable to. It'll really get your gears turning!
Hi Lisa,
I was wondering (and forgive me if you have covered this before) do you do an album for each child and then a "general" family album for Christmas or vacations? Also, how do you organize your photos? Also, how many total completed albums have you done and finally would you mind sharing some of your earliest pages. I love to go back and see my first pages and compare them to see how I have "grown" as an artist.
Thank you for all your great ideas and inspiration.
Jill
I totally agree! Like right now my scrapbooking stuff is so disorganized, I've got those clear boxes full of supplies under my desk and I'm using them as foot stools! (Ha.) Thanks for the challenge, Lisa!
None, the show must go on.
I agree! Sometimes you just need to give that supply a little love, and look at it in a different way! Sometimes adding glitter, rhinestones, some Stickles, brads, ink, etc., turns the supply that you thought you wouldn't use at all into the PERFECT embellishment!
Sometimes all I need to do is take an hour and to just go through all of my stash...I always find a punch or a stamp or a sheet of stickers that I forgot about so I'll pull aside those and then try and use them in my next layout
