Happy Mother's Day!!

Dear Mothers and Amazing Women Everywhere,

I just had to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of my life. Everywhere I go, I meet wonderful women who are so full of grace, hope for the future and courage to face life's challenges. I read your comments and feel of your wonderful spirits. I wish I had the means to meet every one of you. I'd love to take you to lunch and soak in who you are. I know you're doing great things with your lives.

One of my friends, Heather D. White (a well known gal in the industry), gave me this beautiful plaque:

I love the message. Thanks, Heather (who is "retiring" from the industry--you will be missed).

I loved all your messages from my "Utah" contest. I want to take each of you to lunch! Hopefully our paths will meet at some point. I randomly choose one: Shannon (who wrote at 3:36 p.m.)--you're the winner! Can't wait to have some gal time with you at Food for Thought. Please leave your contact information for Pam at Davidandgoliath20022003@yahoo.com.

I've had the best mother's day week ever! Michael Lazorchak sent me these beautiful flowers. Just had to show them off:

Friday night I went with a friend to get a massage!

Then, yesterday I got up and saw my little Sage already outside with a friend looking like this:

It was a beautiful Spring day. Sage had a winter hat on--her friend had curlers in her hair. Both were rollerblading carrying bouquets of flowers from the wedding reception that was held the night before in our neighbor's yard. (Our neighbors told them take whatever flowers they wanted--and they did!) Sage was singing "The Phantom of the Opera" at the top of her lungs. I grabbed the camera and camcorder. These are the moments I want to remember all my life!

Also, Sage was sooooo brave. We were at a family gathering and Uncle Mike noticed a loose front tooth. He said everyone there would give her a dollar if he could pull it. She let him (it was a tough one to come out) and now is $17.00 richer. I love this photo of toothless little Sage.

Last night we got together at a park with my side of the family and ate and played wiffle ball (so much fun--you must go buy one. Great $3.00 investment). My 78-year-old mother was a hoot. She even slid for second base on one occasion!

This morning I got breakfast in bed, and now we're off to church. Then the Bearnson side of the family is coming over for dinner. Steve and Brecken are making chicken enchiladas. Yum!

I am so blessed.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day.

Lisa

Awww I just have to comment on this post! Sage you rock girlie! I have goose bumps thinking about someone pulling my tooth. You are a very brave little girl.

Lisa, you are just wonderful. When I watched you on QVC when your family came to see you I was crying right along with you. I was so touched. You are the reason I started scrapbooking! Watching you late one night on QVC while up with a very colicky baby!! You are such an inspiration to so many of us and it certainly reflects what a good person you and your husband are in your children.

Have a great Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day! Could you let all of us fans of the "mother daughter crop" concept know which line of BasicGrey paper you used when you made your decorations?

Thanks!

Hi Lisa, Happy Mother's Day to you too. I wanted to tell you I LOVE the Hall of Fame kit. I've already assembled a few of them, waiting for pics. I had the "together" layout ready and used it for Mother's Day pics. I'm looking at the layouts, then planning the photos I want to take. I'm trying to do more everyday life pages, so there isn't such a gap between holidays. I think the kit will help. I love how easy it is and how great they look. Everyone thinks I'm so creative! Carol p.s. I love my book that you sent me.
