This summer my twin four-year-old girls and I will be taking an ART class in the summer on Mondays. I have just been so inpired with art and scrapbooking the art of LIFE that I want my children to experience ART as a daily way to live, express their self, and to explore all the different art tools and mediums. Our first class is in June and we are already counting down. WE can't WAIT!

Our family loves the ocean. My daughter loves going to a beach more than anything. So we have a beach vacation planned this summer. We are counting down the days until we are lying on the white sands of Sea Grove, Florida without a care in the world, just enjoying being together!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Susanne
We are taking the "Trip of our lifetime" with our 4 kids, ages 1 1/2 to 16. The kids have never flown, and none of us have been west of the Mississippi. We are driving to New Orleans, flying to Las Vegas then traveling around the west for 12 days. We plan to see Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, go horseback riding, and travel to see family in Tucson, AZ. Then we will travel to Palm Springs, CA where we will stay in a timeshare. While in CA we hope to see part of the coastline above LA, visit the San Diego Zoo, travel the Tram cars near Palm Springs, and possibly go over the border into Mexico. Our girls ages 7 and 12 are looking forward to making scrapbooks of our travels, and I think the KOTM might help do that for them.
My husband, my 2 kids ages 4 and 2 and (a new one coming in August) live in Portland, but my step kids (ages 12 and 9) live in Utah-so our big plans this year are going to Utah to pick them up and spend a week in Heber and Park City before driving home, which as of next month will be in Klamath Falls Oregon near Crater Lake-so we will probably be doing some camping in the area too. My step kids stay with us for 6 weeks in the summer and it is sometimes quite the challenge for me to plan stuff to keep them busy and happy when I am so used to planning for the younger set all year.
I would love to have this kit for my 9 and 4 year old girls since they both love to scrapbook with me, and I have a feeling this summer with moving and being so pregnant I just won't have the time and energy to put into planning scrapbook (or any other for that matter!) projects for them to do. It would be great to have a kit for them to play with!
Thanks for all the inspiration! Love ya!
We're planning to go to the beach this summer. Exactly where, we don't know yet. It's gonna be either Florida beach, South Carolina, Cape Cod or Michigan Beach. And I'm sure me and my kids would love to use the May KOTM to scrapbook our beach vacation.
We're going to take our kids to visit their cousins in Washington. We live in Nevada. They use to live in California and we saw them every year. We haven't seen them in 3 years so we are so excited to get the cousins (their only cousins) all together again - a wonderful family reunion! Kathy
Hey Lisa,
This summer my oldest will be heading off to college in August so we are planning many family oriented activities to make some fun memories. The six of us will be taking our favorite type of vacation "Road Trip", we are heading to Philly to see the sites, visit family and hit the Jersey Shore. We are planning our annual 4th of July party after most of the family struts down Main Street in our town's 7/4 parade. Can't wait for the last day of school!

I am new to your site, but I really like it. I have 4 (ages 10,8,6 and3) kids and we are filling our summer with fun! We have a tradition of starting the summer by decorating/designing our own t-shirts. Fun! Then we do summer choir, art and theather classes and then lots and lots of crafts, swimming and summer reading! Summer here we come! Jen T from Iola, KS
Simple, but exciting for my daughter... just to play :) play in the yard, play at the park, and maybe even play when we go camping! ShellyJ in Ohio
Our big vacation this year is going to a resort in Rocky Point Mexico where we will have tons of family time swimming, watching movie, playing games and just being together as a family!

We are moving to Germany this summer and plan to do a lot of travel in Europe. My kids are so excited to go and see the castles there!
My little 3 yr old and I have plans to go to UTAH! For our family reunion, which happens to start on July 24th & we are excited! I have never been to UT on Pioneer Day so we can't wait! Plus being with our family that has now grown to 171 members is amazing! We also have a trip to Hawaii planned with Dad. Thanks for your sharing your life & talents with all of us!

We are going to Animal Kingdom in June. (In Orlando,FL) My oldest dd is taking her family also. They have rented a time share for the week. It will be awesome!

A few years ago my husband bought some vintage trianlge, felt banners at a collectibles auction. They were from tourist destinations from our province of Alberta. Our young sons loved them and hung them on the wall of their bedroom. This summer we have decided to do a reverse holiday. We are going to travel to all the destinations on our vintage banners. We are all looking forward to the trip, and are curious about the family who originally went on this same trip 50 years ago and collected the banners!
we are going to take several camping trips here in new england... should lead to some interesting ideas for a scrapbook page or two...
We are going to a "land far far away".....DisneyWorld!!!

This summer, my husband and I are taking our adopted daughter to spend some time as a family in the Smokey Mountains. We have been a family for 3 years now; our daughter is now 14 years old and we really want some quality bonding time together away from normal day life to just enjoy each other before tomorrow comes and she's off to college.
Well I don't think that this will be that much of an eventful summer for my son. I am a nanny for 3 other kids so we'll probably just be hanging out and swimming a lot. It is so hard to do a ton of stuff outside in this horrible heat of Arizona!
We are taking our kids by train to Chicago! On our agenda is Shedd's Aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry and the best part of the trip the Lego Store and AMERICAN GIRL store!!
Also spending lots of time at our favorite beach on Lake Michigan and craming 21 people into a 4 bedroom family cottage for lots of tubing, water skiing, knee boarding, fishing, camp fires and playing with the cousins!! So much fun!!!
Happy Mothers Day!!
We are taking the kids to Disney!! We were planning on driving (we are from Michigan) but, with gas prices being what they are we figured out that flying wouldn't be much more and what a time (and sanity) saver!!!
We have some friends that have kids our kids' age and even though we don't usually see each other throughout the year we always make summer plans for a road or camping trip. This year we are going to the Grand Canyon. They are such wonderful friends that we cherish so much! I can't wait to go!
We are planning a camping/boating family vacation with all our cousins and extended family. It's such a fun time for the kids to just enjoy the outdoors and have fun with family too.
My kids and I (I'm lucky enough to have the summers off) always do lots of fun random things. We go to the pool, spend a lot of the time at the library (yeah summer reading club!) and then there's church camp. So much fun and good memories!
The best thing we've planned this summer is moving to a new home and new state, and spending time with my daughters in a new home.. how exciting I can't wait.. we move in about 4 weeks.. I can hardly wait! bonnierose in Anoka MN
Not sure if I am entering this right. This summer my hubby and I plan to treat our 3 year old to a 3 day 2 night mini birthday vacation at Cedar point in Ohio. She went for the first time last year. One day is just not enough not to mention we didn't even get to Soak City which should be her fav part of the whole trip. She is a water freak!!!! However, most of the summer will be playing, and learning soccer and swimming and swimming and swimming. Oh! by the way did I mention swimming!
We're going to the local berry patch at least once a week to pick fresh berries and then we'll make something fun together.
It may not sound terribly exciting, but we are leaving next week to go to Destin, Florida for a week in a beach house with my mother and father in-law and my brother-in-law and his family!! My girls are VERY excited to play in the ocean and swim in the pool, and to spend an etire week with their cousins!! Beach - here we come!
We are going camping as a family for the first time ever! My kids are SO excited and I'm so... nervous. Just kidding. It should be SO much fun! Thanks for the chance to win... love your site!
Well, I don't have kids of my own but...I've been my city's park and rec Tee Ball supervisor for 13 years!!! I supervise the 4 year old group and the 5-6 year old group! It's the perfect summer job for this teacher.
The biggest thing we have planned is moving 1000 miles away, that should keep us busy!
We are going to the Florida Keys this summer to go lobstering and we are SO excited!!! Can't wait for my son to experience the Keys. He will adore the Key deer ( he's my little animal lover). This would be the perfect kit for all those pics I'm going to make- haha!
Hi Lisa! What a fun contest.
We have 3 boys, ages 10, 6 and 3months. It seems like we are are sooo busy during the school year running here and there that we've decided to just relax this summer and stay HOME. No running, just enjoying the good 'ole summertime playing outside, swimming in our pool, having picnic lunches outside, cooking on the grill and simply enjoying the days. We are farmers so we live out in the country and have 3 acres of yard. Back to the basics for us this summer!
Hope your family has a wonderful summer as well.
Tammi :)

Hi Lisa, I am planning a trip to Orlando, FL with my daughter Kira. We are going to a dance nationals comp. And then we are going to some of the fun parks and do some shopping and hang out at the pool. Just her and I and I think it's going to be a blast.

We are taking our kids on a Pioneer Trek to Martin's Cove,Wyoming! I know that many people have done this but it is new to us. We are SO excited about this experience!
we plan on doing a intro series into baking, sewing, and cooking. My girls are 4 and 5
A group of moms from church with their kids are making Mondays our "trip to the beach day". That will give us something to look forward to and lots of play time with buddies(both the kids AND me).
~TanyaS
I have 3 wonderful children ages 2, 4 and 6 and this summer we are planning a trip to Atlanta. We are going to go to the aquarium and the museum as well as a few other fun places. We are also planning on going to a state park here in TN. We will be going downtown Nashville for fireworks on the 4th of July and enjoy spending the summer with family and friends. My kids will also be going to VBS for the first time so that will be fun. We have 2 more weeks of school left and then let the fun begin!
We have 2 camping trips scheduled and a trip up to the Northeast (Buffalo area) for a family reunion. And lastly, I'd like to get to DC if I can fit it in to see the Pandas and the National Zoo!
Thanks for the chance to winLisa ! :)
Since we've had to make some cutbacks this year (due to the economy) we will be doing alot of local things. We live down by the Jersey Shore so that gives us plenty of opportunities to be "tourists" in our own town! Theres the beach and the aquarium and a great interactive bug musuem! Me and a few other moms will take turns hosting playdates with water ballon fights, bike rides and all kinds of fun stuff!
Oh I would LOVE to try one of your kits Lisa!!!!
We have 2 weddings coming up this year. One for our cousin this summer and the other for my sister this fall. Most of our summer will be sent making gifts, scrapbooks, and decorations for the weddings! Since I'm designated as the wedding coordinator for my sister's wedding, we have lots to do! My four kids love to help and LOVE to make things, so I'm hoping we can have a lot of good times working and playing at the same time.
We'll also be doing the usual basketball, soccer, and baseball camps, plus making the trek to Grandma's for each of them to have some alone time with grandparents!
We're so ready!
One morning when we don't have anything else to do (no summer band, no intramural basketball, no intramural volleyball, no band parades, etc.) I'm going to surprise my two girls by having us commute downtown (Chicago) on the train, and we're going to go to the Art Institute, Water Tower Place, and Navy Pier. We don't live that far from the city, but we never take the time to enjoy it! They'll LOVE it!
We are going to the beach in Croatia in August for 2 weeks. We are so excited! My son loves the beach. BTW, the May kit looks like so much fun!
Believe it or not, my kids & I are VERY excited about swimming lessons this summer. And we are all excited about our vacation to Las Vegas (we have a time share with a great pool, we aren't taking our little ones gambling on the strip :)). We will probably also have a few day trips to the beach.
My girls are 5½ and 6½ and would LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit!!!
Exciting... hmm, both of my daughters (ages 13 and 9) are having their tonsils out on June 13. Nerve wracking? Yes, considering it's their first surgery ever. We know it's a fairly routine surgery, but we're all anxious nonetheless... and looking for summer activities that they can do while resting! :)
Hope all is well with your family!
I am so excited, My family is planing to stay at the Oregon Coast for a week this summer, we have been putting it together for the last few months. We are renting out two houses, and all my brothers and their wives will be their with their kids. Also, the missionaries that baptized my family 11 years ago, will be there with their families. We have kept in contact with them and spent a couple holidays together with them, but we have not all been together since we have all had kids. It is going to be a blast!
Six Flags Marine World and the California State Fair! Yeah!
the best and most exciting thing that we get to do this summer. We get to adopt and make three children part of our family. They have been with us as foster children for almost two years now, we are all so happy to be making ours a six person family now. I cant wait to put all of our new memories together.
Our summer calendar has a Memorial Day weekend camping trip with 10 families from our church, a June ATV trip, 4th of July we'll be tubing on the Truckee River, August Coral Pink Sand Dune ATV trip, Labor Day weekend ATV trip to Mammoth Lakes, and to fill in the gaps we have season passes to the water park and to add to the fun, we just got a new doberman puppy!!
Brigitta
Woo hoo! I get to be first...and tell you that the most exciting thing that we are going to do this summer is watch the grass grow!
We aren't going to play sports or have homework. We aren't going to be in any plays, or art shows, or anything at all.
We are going to hang out by the pool and just be together as a family!
Now, that's what I call living!
We're taking a 7 day family trip in our boat to Glacier Bay (Alaska). I want to do lots of scrapbooking and journaling with my 7 1/2 yr old to remember our trip. I'm planning to take our portable printer so we can document wildlife, scenery, and family time. I plan to get my husband involved too of course! Your May Kit would make our trip even more fun!
Cheryl C.
We are taking our four young boys camping. It may not sound exciting to some, but we are camping @ a place where i camped every summer with my family & extended family. I can't wait for our boys to experience it for themselves.
Happy Saturday!
We're taking a 7 day family trip in our boat to Glacier Bay (Alaska). I'm hoping to document the wildlife and scenery, but most of all our family memories on this trip. We're taking our printer so my daughter (7) and I can scrapbook & journal as we go and even get Dad involved! (ihope this isn't a dupicate post--my other comment didn't post at first)
Being a military family we have the opportunity to move our family once again, this time from Washington State to North Carolina. So I have no doubt, in no time at all my children (7, 6, and 2 years old) will be sporting new accents. Crazy! It will be a busy summer.
My little guy is going to start Kindergarten this year. I thought I would take a different country each week and teach him all about the country. Then at the end of the week - I will try to have a dinner with some food from that country and we will present all the information we learned to Daddy. Hopefully he will think it is fun. I have already started gathering material and can't wait to teach him about the wonderful world we live in.
Oh this would be so awesome, my girls love to scrapbook! We are taking them to Sea World this summer for the first time. I'm so excited about it!
my daughter is very exicted about the butterfly garden we are gonna start this summer, and the herb garden. Shes four so the little things totally keep her stoked.
I'm excited about our trips to the botanical gardens.
No Disney for us this summer....we're going to stick close to home and try to make some inexpensive memories this year. Camping, day trips to the zoo, lots of neighbourhood BBQs. We're really looking forward to connecting as a family this summer.
Great kit - I'd love to win it!
The most exciting thing that is planned so far is a week at the beach! We make this a family vacation each year and I can't wait.....This year we are having to plan it for later than normal due to my sister's wedding in a couple of weeks!
Thanks for a chance at a KOTM!!!
Lori
I can't wait until we have our yearly family trip to the beach! Going a little later this year due to my sister's wedding!
Thanks for a chance at the KOTM!
Lori
I don't know if you got my previous post, but our summer always starts with a week at the beaches of the Outer Banks in NOrth Carolina. Now that my sons are getting older, they are becoming more daring in their adventures. This year, they are hoping to be able to go hang gliding from Jockey's Ridge.
We will spend our summer days by the pool with family and friends. I know my little one will craft with me and hopefully I can get the older one to sit down and do some crafting also.
As an older mother the challenge is getting ALL of my kids together...only my youngest, age 17 still lives at home. My oldest is married and a pilot in the Air Force. So, our summer celebration and warm weather fun will start the day after my one son's graduation from college. We (my husband, myself, all 4 kids plus significant others/spouses) will fly to Miami where we will meet up with assorted relatives and special friends. My husband and I are taking about 20 of us on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for a week! My kids are 17, 22, 28, and 31! They still count as kids to me!
I am planning a trip in June with my family to Salt Lake. We want to go to the zoo (our favorite thing to do as a family). I also want to take my 3 kids to the Build A Bear Workshop. I am so looking forward to spending some time without all the chaos of our everyday lives and just being together.
PS- I just received my copy of the 50 Moments that matter most book. I am really excited about it. I am challenging myself to create more with those everyday moments while my children are young so that I can cherish them forever!! Thanks so much for your inspiration
We are thinking about introducing our kids to the beach if we can convince our friends to come help us with our 18 month old triplets and our 4 year old. Otherwise. . .they all think the sand box is a blast!

Let's see...this summer we are going to visit grandparents in Houston so we'll be visiting Mission Control and the beach. But I'm more excited by my "I'm Bored" jar. I've gone through the house thinking of all activities/"less-loved" toys and games/etc. and put them on slips of paper. We'll draw them out to use throughout the summer to avoid hours and hours of TV. The KOTM would be a great slip. ;-)
Thanks as always. I'm looking forward to the other comments for great summer ideas.
Lisa in Pampa, TX
Hey! That would be awesome! I want to have a summer camp at home for all my brothers and sisters. Maybe we'll do cooking, sports, crafts, contests, and soooo much more! I am so excited!
It's heading into winter here, so are planning lots of indoor things - cubbyhouses in the loungeroom, playdoh at the kitchen table, and lots of good times together!
My 'kid' will be 21 at the end of May and is coming home for two weeks in June!! He has already done one tour in Iraq and will be going back in October, and since he is stationed in Hawaii and I'm in Wisconsin, this will probably be the last chance I get to see him before he heads back over.
While he is here, we will be going to my parents summer home, which he hasn't seen, other than in pictures, because it was just finished being built last year.
I suspect it will be bittersweet for him, because my Dad died before it was completed and never got to see the finished home. Regardless, it's going to be FUN!!!
Thank you for sharing all that you do on your blog!!
~ Pam
We take our children camping every summer. We have 3 other families that come along with us. It is 3 days filled with games, hikes, conversations and of course yummy food...especially smores. We usually bring along our canoe and do some canoeing and fishing. The best part is that we are away from phones, video games, tvs and radios, which means it is 3 days of uninterrupted family time.
Thanks for these fun contests and the opportunity to appreciate what a wonderful family I have.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

My son Ben is learning to swim this year so we will be spending all summer at the beach and pool. His Papa is so excited to swim with him, it will be good to take pictures of the two of them. They are buddies.
Summer time for our family means lots of fishing and camping! Between all the mountain traveling my 6 year old will be involved in the local theater. As for our littlest goose who's 3 will be starting her first dance classes, and she loves telling everyone how "so excited" she is. Summer to us is being with our family having bbq's every Sunday.
Thanks for the opportunity to win the KOTM!!!
This summer, we are going to the library EVERY Monday. We are going to have a field trip every week. We are going to have quite time where I will read them a book every day. I am really looking forward to continuing school with them, even through the summer.
We are a drag racing family. This summer my 12 year old son will start jr. drag racing. Looking forward to lots of photo ops!!
Trips to Disneyland, Tahoe and Hawaii!
We have a bunch of family coming out to visit us since we had our Baby Girl on 12/31/07. We will be swimming, going to the Zoo, traveling to Sedona, AZ and just enjoying all the cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.
We Love Family visits!!
We moved 800 miles from home last year, and my kid's best friends and their parents are coming to stay with us for a week. We can't wait!
Hi Lisa,
My family just got back from Disneyworld. I have two boys (2 & 8 months), so the trip was fun for the "older" people but as for the boys, they won't remember being there (that is until I complete their album, lol) So, my hubby and I have decided we are going to go camping at some local camp grounds- my little boy just love the outdoors, so Daddy wants to teach him how to fish. I'm sure there will be lots of other adventures the family will do, but camping is on the top of our list.
Thanks for this opportunity to receive the KOTM, it's awesome!

Oh how fun is that!? Thanks for the chance to win!
besides summer school, which my 6yo is VERY excited about, she will be attending 1 day camp and 3 VBSes. the 4yo twins will be attending 3 VBSes and all 3 will be attending a girl scout camp at which i will also be volunteering. there is also 'miss tammy camp' that will be attended by my 3 and a girlfriends 2 kids in august; our family will be camping with one family, vacationing at the ocean with 3 other families, and having numerous cookouts, zoo visits, birthday parties, and slumber parties with lots of friends and family! we'll have a lot of memories to memorialize!
My son will be attending Farm Camp as he does every summer. My daughter will be attending Girl Scout Camp and also taking some kids scrapbooking classes at our local scrapbook store. As a family, we are going to Wisconsin Dells. Each of the kids have picked out 2 things that they want to do while we are there and are very excited about it!! Only 3 weeks until Summer Vacation starts!
The most exciting thing I will be doing this summer is enjoying some FREE time with my kids. With four children's busy schedules I always look forward to school getting out. Nothing better than a lazy day with NO plans!
We are planning a trip to Mount Rushmore and learning a little more about US history. We are so excited. We have been buying books and learning everything that we can. We have even started the scrap book so that we can put pictures in as we go.
Andrea in Springfield, IL
Well, I don't know how cool this is, but I have a daughter who is a junior in high school. We get to do "college shopping" this summer. We will try to visit several of the colleges/universities on her list. I can't believe my baby will be a senior next fall! I need a tissue.
Happy Mother's Day, Lisa!
We get to have our 5 year old grandson(who lives in Utah)for almost a month this summer! We'll be taking him to the beach in Washington cause he LOVES to play in the sand and make S'mores over a campfire. Then we'll come home to Montana where we'll swim in the lake, hike in the woods, fish, play games, go flying with Papa...you get the idea! And, yes, we'll scrapbook! He also loves to cut, stamp, glue, punch, and paint with Grandma!
Cindy B. in Montana
Thanks for asking! We plan on taking our 12 year old to the Grand Canyon and Washington D.C. Although we have been there with Gracies older siblings, Grace has the chance to have Mom and Dad to herself. She is feeling like a big girl on campus and we would rather have her feel like that than abandoned by her 26,24 and 21 year old sisters and brother. We will have some awesome pictures and layouts. Thanks again for asking. And Scrappers, Have a wonderful and safe summer!! Diana, Priebe Holt Michigan
We plan to go to Storyland in NH. It's the highlight of our summer.
I have to admit that that I'm really excited that we're going to go see the Backyardigans Live tomorrow for Mother's Day :) However, the most exciting thing so far for the kids is that we're going to Disney World in August, and my three year old is so excited to be meeting the real live Mickey Mouse and Tigger.
Rebecca
Can you say ROAD TRIP to Unc. Bob's Farm. This kit is so necessary for the 14 hour ride!!
To appeal to the entire family...
We plan to go to Lakeland, FL for the revival for me; Camping while we are there for my husband; and playing at Disney and the Holy Land experience for the girls. Can't get better than that!
mrosetwin@yahoo.com
We are going to go camping at Arches National Park because my 3 year old really wants to see Delicate Arch and go hiking to it!
I am taking my son to visit his grandparents in SC for a week. It will be his first time on an airplane.
First off, Happy Mother's day. May you feel pampered and blessed the entire day!
Our family is heading to NH for my BIL wedding and my 5 yr old, 3 yr old, and DH will all be in the wedding. We are driving from the UP of Michigan through Canada and this will be the longest trip we've ever taken. I'm looking at it as an adventure b/c I am sure there will be some snags here & there but it should prove to be fun. Unfortunately we don't get to see DH's family often & they've never met our youngest 2 children & its been since our oldest was 10 months since we've seen them last so I'm excited to reconnect with them.
I homeschool my kids, and I hope to help them with their writing by letting them scrapbook with me this summer! That way we both get to play!
Marty in Greensboro, NC
My husband and I have a nephew, Alex who we will spend some time with this summer. He's staying at our house for a week. We're calling it Camp Adventure. We will have name tags with badges (stickers) to earn.
He is so thoughtful and generous. I'm working on something fun to do that gives back to others. That'll make a fun badge for all of us.
Thanks---Dina
Well my kids are a bit older. I have a 16 and 18 year old. The 18 year old moved about 7 hours away six months ago, and his little sister misses him a lot, so I will be taking her and dropping her off until she's sick of him and calls me to come rescue her. With both of them together, I'll be the one that needs entertained...
Shannon
Hi Lisa,
Since my husband and I both work during the week, the weekends are saved for family time. This summer we have decided to let each child pick an activity every weekend. The most exciting part is that we will always be surprised as to what adventure our children will pick!
Hope you have a great summer!
Jen Hall
Ludlow, MA
We just got an inflatable double water slide. We plan on spending most of the summer in the backyard!
My older son is going to summer camp for a few weeks and in July I am taking him to my husband's parent summer house. My husband grew up going there every summer. So, I think it will be great for my son to see all the spots where his daddy used to play. I can not wait!
What I have planned for the summer is really just before the summer begins!
Next week, my hubby and I are flying to California with our 3 young daughters to see my son get his teaching credential, his fiance her BA and then attend their wedding. This may not sound like much to some but to our three young daughters it is (they've never been on a plane)!
We are native Californians now living in Tennessee and the girls haven't seen their brother since just before we moved out here. The girls are all in the wedding.
I've been back twice since we moved out here but my husband nor our daughters have been. Needless to say everyone is looking forward to the trip out west to see family and friends!
Too much for just one thing. Spending lots of time at the swim club and participating in swim team; golf, camping trip, playing with friends, 4th of July 1 mile fun run, sandcastle contest, fireworks on beach, Detroit Tiger baseball games...
Karen in Michigan
Something exciting that we are doing... soon my husband will officially be out of the Army... for good! We are going to be on vacation, but the kids and I already have some celebration plans and my daughter, who is seven, is very excited!
We are, of course, also planning to spend some time playing with the KOTM that we are looking forward to receiving this week! An extra would be welcome!
Happy Mother's Day!

I'm visiting my niece and nephew for their summer birthdays in June. It's a tradition that I take them to a movie as part of a special treat. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
This summer, my husband and I are taking our boys who are 13 and 11 to Wyoming. We are driving out there and back so this should be a great adventure and we are looking forward to it! I am from Wyoming and about 23 years ago my family moved to Florida.Almost everyone else has since moved back and we are going to visit. I plan on showing my boys where I grew up and played and went to school as a kid. I am also going to show them some of the history in the area. There are the Oregon Trail ruts, Register Cliff and Fort Laramie. We also might take a side trip to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park and maybe even Devil's Tower. We are all excited and can't wait!
