East Coast Here I Come! I'd love to meet you!
Hey Everyone!
I'm back from my "girls only" trip down to Southern Utah. Wow--what an adventure! Saturday night we went to the Tuacahn and saw Les Miserables--the best I've ever seen (and I've see it 10 times). Truly very emotional. If you live in the area, you must go see it. Life altering! Monday night we went to Sound of Music--still good but didn't have the energy of Les Miserables.
Monday we also hiked the Narrows at Zion National Park. Here we are with our hiking sticks and water up to our waist. Really an adventure--great for family fun too. (We rented special water socks and shoes plus a walking stick which made it more enjoyable.)
Friday we're off to Ocean City, NJ for a week. Our family will be attending my friend's (Gladys Hedaya) brother's barmitzva celebration. We are excited.
I'll also be in the Baltimore/DC area on Saturday July 19th-Tuesday July 22nd. I'd love to meet you on Saturday night (the 19th) from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Scrapmasters in Bel Air. Here is the address and phone number:

Looks like you had a great time. Good for you! It is always nice to spend sometime with your special girlfriends. Our lives are truly busy everyday, we sometimes miss the opportunity to spend quality time with good friends.

I am going to see Les Mis at Tuacahn in October. I have seen it many times also but now after reading about your experience I am really excited to see it again!! I'm so excited about your upcoming visit to Bel Air, MD. I just got the email from Cathy at ScrapMasters and I'm already signed up. I've been wanting to meet you for a while. I have two young children and I'm an avid acrapper.I've just been diagnosed with an immune system deficiency, so as you can imagine - life has become very complicated and frustrating. Cathy's email about your visit was such a bright spot in my day. I read your blog and I watch you on QVC, and of course, read CK religiously. I actually already had your book, but I purchased another so that I can meet you. I'm really looking forward to the book signing. Have a safe trip and we will see you on the 19th!

I noticed you've been answering some of the comments here lately and I was hoping you could help me.
In Feb I bought a kit on QVC that had an 8x8 fiber-board album and came with a blue canvas tote. I originally bought this for a teacher gift but then decided to give the May KOTM. Then I had a brilliant idea for what to do with the kit. I decided to make a baby album copying Becky Higgins' album with photos of every month of Porter's first year. Problem is, I have twin boys and I need to make one for each of them. And of course they need to match. I really love the album and just need another one of those and also some extra page protectors. Do you have any idea if QVC is going to sell this kit again or where I might be able to find this kind of album and page protectors? Thanks a lot!

I will have my eye out for you in Ocean City. My family & I are headed down there for the week on Sat. This means I have more incentive to carry around my camera with me:) Wish there was a scrapbook store there to meet up at. Lancaster is also very close to where I live- a short 20-30 minute drive. Hope I get the chance to meet you personally- My mom & I where at QVC but didn't get to talk to you.

Ocean City, NJ is great. I spent many a happy summers there enjoying the beach and boardwalk. Make sure you get to Cape May! It's a gorgeous old Victorian Town about 30 minutes south of Ocean City. Beautiful homes, great resturants and shops too!

Enjoy Ocean City, NJ! My family and I have enjoyed many vacations there! I took my kids on a pirate adventure there last year that was a blast.
It's such a family friendly spot. My daughter loved the ghost walk, too! :) That's a fun time with a lot of good story telling.

Enjoy your time here on the East Coast. I live around 30 min from Lancaster. There is a great scrapbook dept at Flower and Craft Warehouse in Blue Ball-right outside Lancaster. Don't forget to go to Shady Maple while you are in the area-you won't regret it!!

Hey Lisa! I hope you have an awesome time in Ocean City, NJ. I live about 2 hours north in Dunellen, lived in NJ all my life and I'm embarassed to say that I've never been there! I've met you several times at QVC and also at CKC-VF 2 years ago. It's always been so crazy though and I never get to really chat with you. But I'm a huge fan and maybe sometime in the future I'll make it to your "Adventures with Lisa" - so wish I could go. But if by chance your near Route 287 in your travels, stop by 300 Third St in Dunellen and say hi!!!

Hi Lisa - I am still on cloud nine after meeting you last night! Luckily, the trip home only took 3 hours (1/2 as long as the trip there!). Anyway, meeting you was worth every minute we were stuck in traffic! My daughters, Kiera and Greta can't stop talking about how pretty and nice you are! It's too cute!!

Ladies, I was privileged to meet Lisa at the book signing this past Saturday in Bel Air, MD's Scrap-Masters! Not only did Lisa sign our books, but she hugged each one of us, had her picture taken with each of us, and asked us questions about our world. She had her 2 daughters with her and I enjoyed watching her interact with them! What a genuine lady! Lisa, I have a lot of respect for you personally and professionally.

OMG - you are going to be in Lancaster...that's not far from me. My friend just opened up a LSS (Fancy that scrapbook boutique) in Hershey and it is ALL divalicious (pink/brown/crystals - EVERYWHERE). Anyway, don't know if your schedule allows it or not but I teach classes there now and would LOVE to meet you. Drop by to say hello and get the "royal" treatment! We are 3 minutes from Hersheypark.

Oh my... I missed this??!!! I just find this out???!!! My friend just dropped her cup, LOL. We have been waiting for Lisa to come to the East Cost for ever!!! We live just 30 minutes from Bel Air, close to Lancaster and not far from Baltimore, all these places are just about 1 hour away and we missed it... What a bummer!!!!!! Congratulations, Lisa, on making it to the top. I've done a few in California similar to that but never in one day. Very nice job.
