One Last Request, I Promise!

I feel bad I haven't done a "normal" post for so long. Life is going at such a fast pace this summer. I really will write soon.

Just another update on Spencer. (See posts below.)
The one dollar letters keep coming in for him! He has been so excited about this and is keeping track of the states they come
from. So far he has letters from 42 states!! This is amazing. If you know anyone who lives in Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, New
Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island or West Virginia, please beg them to send an envelope and dollar bill. It would be so cool if Spencer could get a post mark from every state. Please feel free to forward them this e-mail! Here is a link to Spencer's Caring Bridge website. His mom says it's good for him to walk to the mailbox each day--and he loves what's inside!

Thanks everyone and have a safe and happy 4th of July! We will be going on a bike ride in the morning, hosting a swimming party/shrimp boil in the afternoon, and going to the Jonas Brothers in the evening. Lots to pack in!

Lisa

Lisa,

I'm so glad to hear that Spencer loves all the cards and dollars!

I also CANNOT wait much longer to hear about what you've been up to lately! Still want to see your Lake Powell pictures, and am so curious to hear what you did for 12hours on that one Saturday!

I know how busy you are, but hopefully you can find some time soon. We all appreciate what you do, and just love hearing about it. I think it's because you are such an inspiration to so many of us!

Thanks Lisa!

Love, Barb :)

Lisa -
Here's another idea. Spencer has 4siblings, but is especially close to his little sister - Claire - who is 10 years old. What if we all send a dollar to her too? I know that this is hard on the whole family, but I imagine for a 10 year old that watching your closest sibling go through all of this must be extremely difficult. How about starting a "Dollar for Claire" too?

I am a bit slow at this but have been meaning to do this for days now :-(. Sorry :-). I have put €5 (five Euro) bill in an envelope to him because we don't have €1 bills, we have €1 & €2 coins. I also stuck in a $1 bill I had left over from my holidays in North Carolina in April, just so my envelope won't be a complete dead loss to him ;-).

I'm excited and delighted to do this for him.

Hugs
