Happy Birthday to My Sweet Dad!

My mom called last night to say how much she enjoyed reading all your birthday comments to her. Thanks for making her day so memorable!

Now one more favor. Today is my dad's 82nd birthday and I'd love it if you'd drop him a note as well.

Many have asked how he is doing since his operation. The answer is remarkably well. In fact, it is a big miracle. He now can walk without the assistance of a wheel chair, walker or another person. His outlook on life seems much more cheerful and he doesn't get as tired as before. I know your prayers on his behalf were heard. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Just a few things your should know about my dad. He's a professional opera singer (beautiful baritone voice), I've never heard him say a curse word, he's a gentle, spiritual giant, he never loses his temper and he has a very dry, funny sense of humor. Every time I see him he has a new joke for me. Here's his joke for today:

"Why did the ram run over the cliff? He didn't see the ewe turn!"

Happy Birthday, Pops! When I grow up I want to be just like you!

Love, Lisa

A BIG Happy Birthday to you all the way from Australia. Hope you have a fantastic day. I have "gotten to know you" through Lisa's pages in Creating Keepsakes and just wanted to say "you are an amazing inspiration to us all". Thankyou and before I go I have to share one of my dad's jokes with you:

Q:Whats got 4 wheels and Flys/Flies?

A:A garbage truck

Better said than read because of the way people perceive the word flys/flies.

Anyway have a lovely day and I am very happy you are feeling better.
