On a Happier Note . . .
My party-planning pal, Stephanie Ashton, and I hosted a New Moon (the second of the Twilight series) party this past weekend.
Everyone wore black, red and white and we gave out "I Crave Edward" or "I Crave Jacob" candy bars when everyone arrived. (Each guest had to decide which one they like best! After the movie, I'm a Jacob fan all the way!!) We also played a fun trivia game.
The food was really fun (thanks, Kneaders!!). We had the options of "Vampire Vittles (Edward all the way!)," "Werewolf Special (I Love Jacob!)" and "I can't decide--they're both too hot!" Then we had these glorious desserts!
The movie really is good--lots of action! Have a great week and I'll talk with you soon!

I wanted to let you know that the candle you displayed, Witches Brew, I had some a few years ago and when the candle was through burning, I cleaned out the jar and am now using them to store my buttons. I had the large jar and small jar. Such a yummy scent.

New Moon was awesome! I saw it Friday at 10 am! I love the books, I looked at them dozens of times in the store. But thanks to you Lisa, when I read about your Twilight party last year and how much you loved the story, I picked up the book and loved it, then read all of them! You got me hooked and I thank you!

Your party looks like it was a blast, and what fun food and favors. I am just wondering if you let your young girls watch and read these books, as they are PG13.

What a great time you all must have had. We will be doing our New moon party when the DVD comes out. We had one last yr and it was so much fun. Saw the movie twice already and can't wait to see it again. Im neutral I love them both :)
I'm with you Lisa. I've always been on Team Edward...but after this movie I've joined Emma...I'm Team Jacob!! What a doll!!:)
A big group of us went opening night. It was a ZOO!! Then I had a few friends over to my house for treats and we chatted about the movie. My dear friend Kari made us chocolate covered strawberries!!

I've decided I'm too old to do the midnight showing. However, it was worth it and I enjoyed the "eye-candy"! I'm glad you guys had a fun time and the desserts look awesome!
I was wondering if you had a party-I got the idea to host a New Moon party from your post last year when Twilight opened. We had a party for Twilight Moms-ate vampire/werewolf themed food and went to the midnight showing! Glad to say that we weren't the only Twilight moms at the show. I'm working on the save the date cards for the 6/30 premiere of Eclipse!

Hope you and Steve have a happy anniversary this week - i only remember because i believe my anniversary is the same date (Nov 25) and for the same year (20 this year!).
