You Guys Are Too Smart!!
Okay, you guys are way too smart. The majority of you guessed the correct answer. Yes--the "celebrity" I saw in the Salt Lake airport was John Gosselin from "John and Kate Plus Eight." (Bad photo but you know how airport pictures go!)

I have to admit that he was super nice and wanted to know the name of my blog so he could see the photos. Hey--maybe he'll be the next scrapbooker?! Maybe we can all help him with all the scrapbooks of his children!? I asked him why he was in Salt Lake City and he said he's now living in Park City.

If you are a winner, please e-mail Steve at steven@bearnson.net with your snail mail address and American Crafts will end you the Valentine's Day kit ASAP.
Also, if you aren't a winner, you must take advantage of this wonderful kit. It's packed with all types of LOVE fun. Really a stellar deal. You can contact Joyce and Joyceg@americancrafts.com. I'm not sure how many more kits there are to go around so don't delay.
Thanks for all you sweet notes in support of Kade. Long story short--he doesn't need surgery and it's his foot that is broken, not his ankle. He is scheduled to go to North Carolina next Monday (he's been in a missionary training center--MTC--in Provo, Utah for the past two and a half weeks) but the doctor determined that his trip there must be delayed and that he should stay in the MTC for four extra weeks to heal properly. This news was devastating for Kade and after much prayer and several phone calls, his leader in North Carolina (called the mission president) made special arrangements for him to still travel on Monday. He will be in a cast and on crutches for several weeks but will have a car with unlimited mileage (he would have been riding a bike). So--the Lord always provides and Kade is super happy. Thanks for all your prayers on his behalf.
I am still in Missouri but will be home Saturday night. I'm very anxious to tell you all about my trip. I'll write all about it at the first of next week.
Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Lisa

I have been so worried about Kade! So glad that everything worked out for him to leave and hope that his foot will heal quickly. A friend at school has a son who was suppose to leave on Monday, and they found out yesterday that he's injured and won't be able to leave. They are now waiting to hear about needing surgery. Love you so much and hope you make it home safely! Love, Lori C.
Of course I follow Jon G & co. in the mags, and I have to say that is a great pic! Here he looks genuinely happy. Such a switch from the shots the paparazzi take.
OMGosh....Thank you for the tip about the American Crafts Valentine's kit. I received it yesterday and what a kit it is! My mouth was open for a good 10 minutes while I oohhhed and awwwed over the contents. Its MORE than I could have dreamt of. My daughter and her playdate made valentine's for hours after we got home. Her friend said " I love this scrabooking stuff...can I come back in a few days to make more"? The stickers, chipboard, ribbon, glittered papers, embellishments etc. are so beautiful they just make you SMILE!!! Thanks Joyce at American Crafts too...I so appreciate when a company really looks after their customers...its refreshing nowadays. Lisa...we'll pray for Kades recovery and thank goodness for no surgery. Have a lovely Superbowl weekend...Cheers!
Jon actually looks really happy! I really hope for his sake and his children;s sake that he has turned his life-and attitude-around!

How great that he will still be able to go out to the mission field on time!
I agree that Jon looks way better (& happier) than the paparazzi shots. Utah must bring out the best in him! I am definitely visiting Utah now that he's there- LOL!
So glad to hear that Kade can still head out to NC. All the best to your family!!
Glad to hear your son is ok...
Can't wait to read all about your trip!
Whew!!! Glad it's Kade's foot and not his ankle!!! Maybe he won't be out of it as long.
I guess if you spend a lot of time in airports, you'll eventually run into someone famous. I feel bad that I said I didn't watch the show. (John....I will watch the reruns!!!) Their kids are adorable, though. I do read magazines at my hair appointments!!! :D
