We’ve been working feverishly to get my new “look” on this web site up and running. It’s only a few days away until we launch it and I’m so excited to share with you some new products that I’ve been working on. So–stay tuned. It’s right around the corner!
Last week we were on an extremely fun girls-only camping trip. My pal, Kristy Banks, has a trailer too. Both of our hubby’s pull our trailers up the mountain–about 20 minutes from our homes. They then leave us for several days to fend for ourselves (not really–we do have a vehicle to get down the mountain).
This is a tradition that we look forward to every summer. My girls love it:
The girls we bring up love it (Lori–I’m so bummed that you and your girls left before I got a photo!):
And the adult girls really love it! (Kristy is not very cooperative with photos!)
It is always a total blast! This year (aside from my battery dying and our generators having some issues) will never be forgotten.
On our way up, we passed by a reservoir called Tible Fork. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw this mama moose and her baby moose frolicking in the water. I was so happy I had my camera close by. That night, as we were eating dinner at the picnic table, the two moose decided to visit us. They walked right by our campground! Wow–a sight to behold!
We also were visited by lots of cute deer, squirrels and chipmunks.
We loved roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the fire, making the cutest friendship bracelets ever, playing Scrabble and other games, and just sitting around doing nothin’!
The kids never got tired of the very cold steam.

What great memories you are creating for your daughters. How nice. Looking forward to all of your "new" things. Can't wait to see.
Sounds like you had an amazing time.
I look forward to your pics from this trip every year!!! (Lisa, you don't change from year to year. Is mountain living a preservative?)
I can't imagine living near a place that had "mooses" walking about. So cool!!!
I'm sad about school starting too–next week for us. Bummer. It makes me realize my kids are a year older…so depressing.
I hope Sage has a great 1st day tomorrow and you do all right too! I'll say a prayer for you!
It was such a fun trip Lisa! Thanks so much for letting us come, the girls had such a blast! Love you so much! Lori
This looks like so much fun! I want to come!! LOL
Utah is a "Pretty little place" I just love it and I miss it. You all looked like you were having so much fun…Love Nana Vaughan
Lisa: What beautiful moose photos. I must say that is one sight I hope to "see" some day as my whole bedroom is done in a northern theme with lots of stuffed moose around!!!!
Great photos! I haven’t seen the name “Kristy Banks” since the books of QVC layouts that used to be published. Does she still scrapbook and is there an online site where her pages can be viewed? I absolutely loved her style:)
