Finally! A Post From Me!

Wow! What a crazy, busy summer! Life just seems to get more hectic the older my children get! I love it!

We had an amazing time at Lake Powell!

Highlights included:

We had a very tearful goodbye with Konsti over a week ago. Luckily we will see him in Germany in three weeks!

We are certainly enjoying Roberto. He’s a very sincere, helpful young man with a cute personality. He also loves to play jokes–he got Steve on a very funny one! And his English is improving each day!

He loves to hike, bike, ride four-wheelers and do anything in the great outdoors. We took this hike above Sundance to Stewart Falls today:

Two weeks from today we will take Roberto back to Switzerland and enjoy his beautiful country for a week. We can hardly wait!

I’ll write again soon, promise.

Happy 4th of July!

Love, Lisa

Hey, Lisa. I know Alpine has a lot of members of the Church. You probably have even have a stake or two…or three. We have an elder serving in our ward from Alpine. When he told me that he was from Alpine the first thing I thought was, “That’s where Lisa Bearnson lives.” LOL :)

I love that you’re able to host exchange students. That’s such a neat experience for both parties.
