Happy Valentine’s Day Project Life Giveaway!

Hello to all my friends and happy day of LOVE! Thanks for all your comments on my BIG surprise. Many of you guessed a grand baby is on the way. While this would be delightful and I’m excited when this blessed day arrives, no–Taylor and Kade aren’t expecting.

I really AM going to announce my surprise soon–promise! It’s super exciting. Sorry to leave you hanging.

Before I tell you about the fun giveaway, I’ve got to show you this:

My baby came home from school yesterday with a huge grin on her face. A white rose and heart-shaped box of chocolates were delivered to her in 8th period. She said it was super awkward because both boys were in this class. They were starring at her as she read their names on the attached paper-heart notes! I’m not ready for my 12-year-old to grow up!

Also I can hardly wait! I’m hosting a “For the Love of Strawberries” Valentine’s dinner for our family. Everyone has been assigned a dish to make revolving around this luscious fruit:

On Valentines Day I love anything Chocolate…well, really on ANY day! And, I always love receiving at least one TRADITIONAL heart-shaped box of Valentine’s candy. I have saved them all and am amazed at all the different beautifully decorated designs. I have dated the bottom of the boxes and have saved notes, letters, photos and any other “treasures” from my children, grandchildren and friends. I have been a “traditional” scrapbooker until I found the PROJECT LIFE concept……and I am hooked!

Thanks for the opportunity of the FREE giveaway *smile*

I’d have to say my favorite Valentine food is: Chocolates.
Not just chocolate. ie: candy bars, snack cakes, etc.
But a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Nutty, caramelly, yummy chocolates. And my hubby did not disappoint. ;)

We don’t really do Valentine’s Day, although this year my husband wanted to. I don’t really have a favorite meal or dessert. I love salads, garlic bread, Indian food (something spicy).
We had a lovely dinner. I enjoyed a really hearty salad, followed by a nice glass of wine, some cheese and a nice coffee. Our kids enjoyed something really unhealthy and ate a chocolate brownie covered in a fudge sauce, surrounded by strawberries and topped with loads of cream.

  663. Mandi says:

    I love dove dark chocolates/
