August - A Hectic Month
It's already August ninth and I just realized I haven't written this monthly note! I don't know about you, but for me August is the most hectic month of the year. It's always filled with family reunions, swimming parties, product development meetings, back-to-school shopping, registration, the first day of class, weddings and a huge QVC craft and hobby day (don't miss the fantastic tool I'm showing at 12:01 a.m. on August 14).
Whew—you can probably relate. For me, I'm also always a little sad during August. I'm a summer mom and love hanging out with my kids during the summer months. Still, I must admit to feeling a little relief at the chance to reinstate a schedule and regular bedtime (although keeping up with all the homework is always a little tricky).
So, from me to you, have a happy rest of the summer and best of luck getting ready for the school year!

Lisa- I don't know how you do it! You are obviously a wonderful mother and a great role model for me! I have always been impressed with how down-to-earth you are even after all your successes! I am blessed to have met you in person at CKU Nashville. You truly are a special lady! You do so much for others and I hope you will take a little time this busy month for yourself! Take care!

Lisa, Love the CK October issue so much! I see there were some minor changes but LOVE THEM! Alot more hands on ideas in there and more LO to look at to inspire.
Love your story on dressing up for your Halloween party with your girls. Super cute! Keep up with that and enjoy Halloween.
I love Halloween! Mainly because as a child we grew up in the country and our Halloween consisted of going to couple neighbors houses. so now I love it and over-do Halloween. I only do the "friendly" pumpkin-no gore Halloween. Don't like the scary stuff...but otherwise so into it. What's not to LOVE(haybales, lighted pumpkins, fall leaves, smell of cider and spice, candy etc etc....)
Thanks for your story and your so fun. Keep up the great work at CK!
Lisa,
I love your album kits! I received one of your kits from a vendor at the Great American Scrapbook convention in Arlington, Texas back in June of 2007. It is the All about me album that you feature on your site dedicated to breast cancer awareness, I was wondering when the other three albums will be offered for sale? I would like to have the entire collection!
Last year I purchased 10 of your all about me book kits and one of them is missing page 4 and 5 Is there any way that you can replace the missing pages????
I am facilating a scrapbook/discussion group at my local Mother's Center. I can't wait to share the experience with you in a later email or letter.
